Ken Landfield

VICE PRESIDENT

Forty years ago, I joined the Pier One Theatre family by auditioning, and getting cast, in my first acting venture. I have since acted in over 100 shows, directed more than a few, and written a couple. I have been a producer, house manager, stage manager, and ticket-taker; to date, I have not sold any popcorn, but that may yet come to pass. I am the go-to guy for putting up production posters around town (it takes two+ days to do it properly, in my opinion). I am the vice president of the Board, and the chair of the Planning Committee, an integral committee involved in mapping out our future. I bring a critical eye to budget discussions. In my work life, I had direct contact with my customers, which honed my interpersonal and problem-solving skills. My academic career resulted in a degree in psychology and philosophy, which, while it did not lead to professions in those fields, did give me skills I use every day, in theatre and its counterpart, life.
