PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE • BY STEVE MARTIN • DIRECTED BY JENNIFER NORTON & TOM CUSTER
This absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904. Picasso plays fast and loose with fact, fame, and fortune as these two geniuses muse on the century’s achievements and prospects, as well as other fanciful topics, with infectious dizziness.
BREAKING THE ICE • BY KIERAN LYNN • DIRECTED BY KEN LANDFIELD
Frank Montgomery is the Chief Scientific Advisor to the Arctic Council. He’s in Alaska to give a speech that will tilt the scales. The only problem is he has spilt yogurt on his suit, left his speech behind, and been kidnapped by militant activists. Can he make it back to the back to the podium before it’s too late?
Scared Scriptless is Alaska’s longest running improv comedy troupe. Their shows develop live, in the style of “Whose line is it anyway?” The first act will be long-form where troupe members will take audience suggestions to tell true story monologues, which will inspire the rest of the act. After an intermission, Scared Scriptless will jump into the rapid-fire, short-form style they’re known for! Don't miss out.
